I am passionate about transformative, lasting change, and how that can best be facilitated in groups and individuals. I have had many different opportunities to experience and create change over the past 30 years as a business owner, consultant, facilitator, trainer, executive coach, and therapist.
My approach to helping people change assumes that my clients are the best judges of what they need, that significant and lasting change can take place in every session, and that anyone can learn ways to create a more productive, purposeful, and passionate life. I love collaborating with my clients in creating and sustaining the changes they wish to make and surprising them with how quickly and deeply these changes can manifest. I have a broad range of experience with challenges clients may face, and have in-depth experience with:
I have been a perpetual student with BAs in Political Science and Economics, Masters in Business Administration and in Clinical Psychology, and another year towards a PhD in Change in Human Systems. The work we do at ACA is truly my life’s work. I love my life. I can think of nothing more fulfilling than helping people fully realize their own magnificence in their personal and professional lives. I love my wife of more than 40 years and my two grown kids with all my heart and I look forward to each day.

Hi! If you are looking to connect more with others, understand your actions and have a happier, healthier life, you can! Therapy is a process that can help empower your sense of self, create the happiness you seek and help you overcome your challenges.
I choose to work in the field of Marriage and Family Therapy because I seek to assist those who have suffered from traumatic experiences, and have chosen to begin working on their healing, towards health and happiness.
When working with couples, families and individuals, my focus is to assist my clients in gaining alternative perspectives on a given situation. Through this enlightenment the objective would be to help others learn to respect one another’s feelings and opinions, with no winner or loser, just learning to live together peacefully.
With a broad background in Political Science, Psychology and Marriage and Family Systems, my experience and education has trained me to be accepting of all. When each share and express those feelings without judgment of another, it is together that we learn to grow and exist in happiness.

Emotional and psychological Healing is a journey of self-discovery and mental health that is unique and so rewarding for each individual. It can be a difficult process as we learn to accept ourselves, have patience with ourselves, to forgive ourselves, and ultimately love ourselves and love life! This journey often requires a tour guide to help the individual explore more fully, be heard, and understood so that the path becomes easier to navigate and true lasting change can happen.

I am passionate about working with diverse groups of people. My studies at both Alliant and California Southern University helped familiarize me with the difficulties faced by individuals who suffer from trauma, whether from death, sexual or physical abuse, health complications, life stressors, or other complex matters. Along with education, I have nearly 20 years of combined experience working with individuals diagnosed with comorbid psychotic, mood, developmental, and or intellectual disorders.
With the understanding that life does not come with a “how to” guide, my goal as a therapist is to help you navigate the challenges of life. Often, life presents us with difficulties that may seem insurmountable, while you may not fully understand which direction may be the best route, sometimes talking things through can make all the difference.
I am a firm believer that we may not always have control over a situation, but we can always control our response to a situation. In order to do that, sometimes it requires a shift in thinking, behaving, or a combination of the two. Independently you may not know where to start, but together, we can work towards your goal of obtaining balance, understanding purpose or attaining achievement.

I am a seasoned, well-rounded individual who shares empathy and compassion for all clients. My primary goal is to aid and assist my clients to become resilient and successful while learning how to navigate through their challenges.

However, I am also qualified to assist with other more personal issues as well.
My position is to engage my clients to be open and to feel free to trust and present their issues with confidence, comfort, and secure feelings. Building a great relationship with my clients is of utmost importance.

Welcome – I am so glad you are here. I can imagine you probably never saw yourself being here (wherever ‘here’ is). Regardless, I want to commend your courage and strength to reach out and look for support. Life is hard – we are not meant to go at it alone. I’m here to help you reconnect with yourself and your relationships.
I work with couples who are looking to rebuild intimacy, closeness, and connection. I also enjoy working with individuals looking to process grief and trauma and learn how to regain control of their lives. If that is what you are looking to do – let’s connect.
In therapy, I take a client and goal-oriented approach that allows folks to guide their own therapy experience and healing. I am the counselor that will always gently guide… but, occasionally challenge you out of your comfort zone. Throughout our time together, I’ll help you discover how your past relationships and family history shape your present, and then help you use that insight to determine how you want to reshape your outlook.
If you are committed to improving your future by better understanding and fully accepting your past, I am here to support you in making those connections. I look forward to working alongside you. Till then – take care.

If you are starting therapy for the first time, restarting therapy, locating a new therapist, or simply trying to find the right fit, I am aware that this can bring up a variety of emotions. I am here to let you know that no matter where you are in your therapeutic journey, I am here for you throughout all the phases.
I am a pre-licensed doctoral psychology intern with a profound passion for guiding individuals toward meaningful change and personal growth. My current studies at California Northstate University have aided in my growth as a professional and have provided extensive training and knowledge to support and treat individuals who struggle with mental health symptoms. Over the years, I have had the privilege of working with a diverse range of clients. Specifically, I have worked with ages 13 to 65 diagnosed with various disorders, including anxiety, depression, ADHD, substance abuse, severe trauma, schizophrenia, and mood disorders. In addition, I have worked with individuals who experienced academic struggles, peer relationship issues, family issues, anger problems, low self-esteem, identity work, and grief. Moreover, I have experience as a group counselor addressing substance abuse.
My primary goal as a mental health professional is to foster positive change and growth by understanding each client’s unique needs and working together to create a path that aligns with their personal goals and values. My approach to therapy is to understand all areas of a person’s life and recognize that an individual is made up of different parts that make us whole. By understanding our parts and the influence they can have on our mental, emotional, and physical well-being can aid in deep self-reflection and realizations about oneself, leading to positive change. We are all like puzzles, and sometimes we need help putting the pieces together.
